AAD Surround Sound Speakers (American Acoustic Development) ?

These are for sale due to a recent upgrade in our sound system and will be in the original American Acoustic Development boxes. This is a set of E-series "High Quality Surround Sound Speakers", in excellent condition. They produce a excellent rich sound, with no distortion at high volume. The collection comprises of: 6 E-30 satellites 1 E-44C centre channel speakers 1 E-6 powered subwoofer with internal amplifier 4 E-30 wall brackets. The E-30 satellite speaker consists of a tiny enclosure that is just over 4" cubed with a removable baffle. It contains a 3.5" full-range aluminium driver with frequency response of 130Hz to 20kHz. 150w each and have an impedance of 8 Ohm’s, which can be powered directly from an amplifier, home-theatre system or driven direct from the subwoofer. (They have been used with a Linn Classik Movie System) The E-30 satellites can be mounted on brackets that can be attached to a wall. The speakers simply slide onto the brackets in bayonet fashion via a slot that is built right into the back of the speakers. These are extremely quick and easy to use. The E-44C centre channel speaker has a similar specification of the E-30, but with two full-range aluminium drivers and a tweeter designed for the centre position. The E-6 subwoofer, in keeping with the E series, is a small, nicely finished speaker with the same silver front baffle as the satellites and an asymmetrically shaped hexagonal baffle that covers the 6" driver, but exposes the front port and a portion of the front baffle. There are both high-level and low-level inputs and outputs as well as a power switch that can be set to auto on/off, and a 180-degree phase switch.
